On your wedding day, we are busy creating your florals. I want to share with you what’s in it for us on your special day!

To ensure that your flowers stay fresh all day and that we’re using the best flowers for you, we make your bouquets in the morning of the wedding.
I will send you a sneak peek of your bouquet by text once they’ve been created. This is to ensure you’re happy with the bouquets you’ll be holding on your wedding day.
These bouquets will be resting in our Coolroom until it’s time for delivery.

It is important for us to create the florals inside of our Coldstream workshop before taking them to the venue. As an ex-hospo team, we never want to get in the way of the venues as they set up the room.
We create 90% of the floral installations and table florals, so we are simply taking them to the venue, setting up, and applying final touches.
It’s time to deliver your bouquets and buttonholes!
I come to your getting ready address before your photographer arrives so the florals are ready to go.
The bouquets are delivered in vases for you to keep – a beautiful keepsake for your special day, and also importantly florals can stay hydrated until the time of the ceremony.

One of the most exciting time of the day is the bump in time. This is when we bring the arrangements to the venue to install and set up. We typically only take up to 60 minutes to bump in, so that we’re working as a team with the venue and the wedding vendors.
Install then touch up – we have a good flow and a good well oiled team to do this efficiently and beautifully.
It is important that you can repurpose your ceremony flowers in the reception. We love that you can enjoy the flowers for the duration of the wedding.
We can be creative with repurposing of the ceremony flowers. They can highlight the dance floor space, or the wedding party table.. Where they are repurposed depends on the floorpan and the venue. I’m more than happy to advise depending on your unique wedding.
It’s time to light the candles and make sure everything is perfect.
We check that the ceremony flowers are still looking as beautiful as it was, and all the vases and candles are in place.
Once the check is complete, we leave for you and your guests to enjoy the night away.
We return to the venue to bump out and clean up after the wedding, whether that be that night, or the next morning.
Some venues allow us to return the next morning, and some require bump out that night.
Some couples also request us to come back for our flower wrapping service. This is a great way to get the guests to enjoy the flowers for another few days.
There it is. Thank you for taking a peek at our day.
For me, the part I enjoy the most about my job is the connection I get to create with the clients. It’s wonderful that I get to take you through your planning, to see you on your wedding day during delivery of your bouquets and buttonholes, and be there to see the set up and bump out. It is also an absolutely beautiful thing to be working with a solid and close knit team that understands the task.
As the day comes to a close, it is these shared moments and an absolute beauty created with the team that makes it so fulfilling for me.
