Why We Only Take One Wedding Booking Per Date

We only take one wedding booking per date, and this has been an important decision for myself and my team.

Giving All Of Our Attention To One Wedding

There’s so much beauty in being there for the couple on the wedding day, fully.

We are a Yarra Valley wedding florist that treasures client experience from start to finish. We want you to spend the days leading up feeling at ease that everything is taken care of. On the wedding day, we want you to be assured that we have everything organised, created in our workshop and is delivered timely so florals will last the day.

Sometimes there are last minute changes to the wedding details – like the ceremony locations due to the weather, needing extra buttonholes for family members, changes to the location of florals. There have been weddings in the past where the ceremony location was changed 30 minutes before the ceremony time. This is possible because we are on standby.

Being available for the whole day means we are here to give you, floral and styling details complete attention.

Commitment to Being A No Floral Foam Florist

We strive for minimal waste in our business. Floral foam is non-recyclable, petroleum based plastic product that breaks down into microplastic. It’s a product that we all shouldn’t be using. As a no-floral foam florist, we have spent the last few years creating and refining mechanics to arrange florals in huge scales to small table arrangements. The “downside” of being a no floral foam florist is that we create most of the design on the day. Florals cannot be pre-created as there won’t be any water source.

That is, greenery inserted to the arrangements on the day, making sure there are water sources for the florals, and fresh florals added at the last minute.

After 16 years in floristry, we have a very good understanding of what flowers need more water than others and we apply this knowledge to each and every arrangement created.

Creating Personal, Unique Wedding Florals

No two weddings are the same. We exchange dozens of emails between the clients before the wedding to get a full understanding of the desired styling. Your wedding florals should feel unique, and we strive to create what you have been dreaming of.

Having one wedding per date gives us the creative space to design something that is for you. On the day, I am thinking of the communications that we had leading up to the wedding date. Florals are thoughtfully imagined, refined and created on the day.

The creative depth is not possible when the attention is divided between different weddings.

We love what we do, and feel so grateful to be able to create gorgeous florals for our clients.

Being there for the couple, the creative process, and committing to sustainable floristry. We feel proud to continue valuing these key factors that we have been treasuring over the years.
