Our Summer of 2025 and 2026 wedding season was so special — light lingering longer, air softer, and the dance floor seems to be even more alive at the end of the night.
We find ourselves reflecting not just on the flower styling but the warmth, the joy, and the creativity and collaboration with our beautiful clients.
I know many larger florists work with stylists, but we tend to have the most creative and collaborative clients who work with us directly. They bring in what they want, we have a discussion, and we create it for them with a touch of Sugar Bee.
We had many weddings with under 80 guests going all out on flowers, and we wholeheartedly love that. We were able to wrap the flowers for the guests to take an armful after the wedding, which was incredible.

White and green florals tend to be more popular during the warmer months for refreshing and clean aesthetics.
Warm pastels continued to hold their place, but with a little more depth and nuance — butter yellows, washed blues, delicate peaches, and layered neutrals. The effortless elegance of draping hanging amaranthus was definitely a standout.
Play on texture was also big. A mix of a variety of flowers rather than focusing on a single variety brought the ultra-modern feel.
Our blossom installations at Stones continued to become a signature part of the season. They brought a sense of height and quiet statement, holding the space together — something that transforms a space without overpowering.

Couples being creative with the flow of the day.
We saw different locations being used for the canapé, reception areas, as well as for photos. I love how couples are being creative about the guest experiences. The canapé hour opposite the reception space at Harriet for R&N was a standout this season.

Trusted with creative freedom, working with familiar faces.
We worked with couples who trusted us with creative freedom, allowing us to interpret their vision in a way that felt true to them while still aligned with our aesthetic. My love and inspiration for my job is meeting and connecting with my clients — hearing about their story, cultural and family traditions, and everything in between. It's always a pleasure to create the connection.
And I cannot forget the connection with the vendors that we get to work with. All the familiar faces make it so wonderful.

Incredibly grateful as we close our busiest months.
We're left feeling incredibly grateful as we close the busiest months of the year — for the trust our couples place in us, for the spaces we get to create within (Stones, Coombe, Hubert, Acacia, Zonzo — we love you and are so appreciative), for the beautiful vendors that we get to work with, and for our little team who create big things and bring everything to life with such care and dedication, often in the late hours, with tired legs but very full of care and passion.
We're carrying so much inspiration from this summer into the seasons ahead — a continued love for softness, for thoughtful design, and for creating florals that feel right for each of our couples.
