These terms set out how we book, confirm and deliver Sugar Bee Flowers' services. Last updated 21 May 2026.
These terms apply whenever you engage Sugar Bee Flowers for floral design, delivery, hire or installation. By submitting an enquiry, paying a deposit, or accepting a quote, you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time of booking.
We provide wedding floristry, corporate and event florals, shop bouquets and gift deliveries, and event florals pieces. The scope of any individual engagement is set out in the quote we send you, including specific pieces, quantities, palette, delivery, install and pack-down where applicable.
Quotes are valid for fourteen days from the date of issue. Pricing may change for enquiries received after that period, particularly where seasonal availability has changed.
For weddings: we require a minimum spend of $5,000. A 25% deposit confirms your booking and reserves your date. Some clients prefer to secure a date earlier with a $500 holding deposit, which is later absorbed into the 25%. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding date.
For corporate events, functions and one-off installations: terms are set out individually in the quote and may include a deposit and balance schedule appropriate to the scale.
For shop bouquets and gift deliveries: full payment is required at the time of order.
Deposits are non-refundable. We hold your date exclusively from the moment your deposit clears and decline other enquiries for that date.
If you cancel more than 60 days before your wedding, any payments above the deposit will be refunded. Cancellations within 60 days forfeit any payments made to that date, as we will already have committed to seasonal flower orders, growers, and hire pieces on your behalf.
For shop deliveries: orders cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date will be refunded in full. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
If circumstances require you to postpone your wedding, we will do our best to honour your deposit and apply it to a new date, subject to availability. Postponements within four weeks of the original date may incur additional costs for flowers already procured.
Where we are unable to deliver due to events beyond our reasonable control — extreme weather, natural disaster, illness, public health restrictions, supplier failure or comparable events — we will work with you to reschedule or substitute. Where neither is possible, our liability is limited to the value of services not yet performed.
Floral availability is seasonal. The flowers shown in mood boards, examples and product photography indicate a style and palette rather than a guarantee of specific stems. We may substitute individual flowers where necessary to maintain the agreed look, and we'll always aim to preserve the overall design intent.
You are responsible for ensuring that we have safe and timely access to the delivery or installation location. Where delivery cannot be completed because access is not available, we may leave florals at a safe nearby location or return them to our studio, in which case a re-delivery fee may apply.
Vases, vessels, candle holders and other hire pieces remain the property of Sugar Bee Flowers. They must be returned in the condition supplied. Damaged, broken or unreturned hire pieces will be charged at their replacement cost.
We may photograph our own floral work at events and weddings. These images may be used on our website, social media, in print and in submissions to publications. We will not photograph guests or the wedding party other than incidentally, and we will not publish identifiable personal details. If you would prefer we did not use images from your wedding publicly, let us know in writing before the day and we will respect that.
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the amount you have paid for those services. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses.
Nothing in these terms excludes any consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
