We had the pleasure of styling The Stables Restaurant for their Unveiling event, celebrating the Stones 20th anniversary. It was the very first time the public could attend Stones as if they were attending a wedding.
As a long time preferred supplier, it was an absolute honour to style my beloved intimate space, The Stables Restaurant.
My styling concepts.
My styling planning concepts were based on these key elements:
— A celebration of the upcoming spring season.
— The experience of the guests — not just visually, but in the smell that they smell as they enter the room.
— Not overdoing the space, but creating an abundant floral styling so guests of any budget can visualise the space with their own style.
The whole aesthetic to look joyful and lively is always important to me. Nothing else can replicate the joy of fresh flowers, and I see it in the guests' faces as they walk into weddings we get to style. I was so happy to hear "wow it smells so good in here" as the guests wandered around the room.
Letting the room speak.
Stables is a character filled space, it doesn't need to be over done with styling. We kept it simple so we can really highlight the beauty of the room with flowers, candles and coloured napkins.
The day itself.
It was so beautifully executed with styled rooms full of florals, canapés served, freshly shucked oysters, exclusive tours of their incredible accommodations — the whole day to immerse yourself in the venue that reminds you of a summery slow afternoon in picturesque Tuscany.
I hope our flowers brought joy to the guests' hearts, and we were able to share the life and beauty that fresh flowers give to us.
With thanks.
