Few venues inspire us quite like Stones of the Yarra Valley. Its century-old oaks, breathtaking grounds and unmistakable sense of occasion — the Chapel, The Barn, The Stables and The Dairy, all a short walk apart — make it the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration. We've had the privilege of creating flowers for many beautiful weddings at Stones, and each one feels as special as the last. It's a venue we truly love, and one where our floral style feels right at home.

Soaring ceilings, stained glass and sweeping views over the vines: the Stones Chapel is one of the most beautiful ceremony spaces in the valley, and its soft rendered walls let flowers shine. Our favourite pieces here are a pair of overflowing floral pillars either side of the couple, clouds of baby’s breath and candles along the front, or a lush greenery arch framing the Chapel doors for the moment you step out as newlyweds.
Ceremony flowers can move with you: pillars and urns from the Chapel are often carried across to The Barn to frame the bridal table, so nothing beautiful goes to waste.
The Barn seats up to 186 guests under original timber beams, and those beams are the reason we love it so much. It is the perfect home for our signature blossom installation — branches of flowering blossom or greenery running the length of the roof — or a hanging floral installation of roses and garden flowers floating above the tables.
Down at table level, long tables suit The Barn beautifully: white flowers in tall glass vases, clusters of bud vases and candles, a baby’s breath runner, or a bold ribbon of red roses. Add draping and chandeliers and the whole room becomes lavish and glowing.
The Stables, Stones’ heritage restaurant, is our favourite space for intimate weddings of 40 to 63 guests — low light, stone and timber, and flowers that feel abundant and close. The Dairy, between the Chapel and The Barn, is where guests gather for drinks and canapés, and a few generous arrangements there carry the story from ceremony to reception.
We have flowered many weddings at Stones, so we know every space, the venue team and the timing of the day. Youki leads each wedding personally: two consultations before the day, then our team installs everything in the morning and packs down after the celebration, so you only ever see the beauty. Real flowers, never floral foam — always.
